Founded in 1988, NAC AG has been recognized as one of the world’s most important auction houses, especially when it comes to ancient and Italian coins. Originally based in Naples, the company’s founder Roberto Russo decided to relocate to the Swiss city of Zurich, which was the center of the international coin trade at the time. Additionally NAC AG has offices in London and Milan with a field office in Brussels.

Arturo and Giuliano Russo, sons of NAC’s founder Roberto Russo have almost 50 years numismatic experience between them. Arturo has been working in numismatics since his teenage years when he was mentored not only by his father but also some of the most famous names of modern numismatics including Leo Mildenberg and Silvia Hurter of Leu.

Giuliano joined NAC in 2009 straight after graduating but, just like his brother, his numismatic training started from his childhood.

Over the years Arturo and Giuliano have valued, cataloged and auctioned some of the most important collections of our time earning them the reputation they hold today as one of the most respected experts of ancient coins.
